Portrait Fees

These prices may vary according to sizes, additional figures, pets and elaborate backgrounds. Prices quoted are for the painting only. Other expenses for travel, framing, and shipping are additional. After an in-depth interview to discuss the specifications of your unique portrait, a price will be set by agreement.

• Prices include at least one photo session conducted by the artist.
• All materials are considered archival and of the finest grade.
• Sizes are approximate and will be determined by the artist depending on final composition.
• Prices quoted are based on simple nondescript backgrounds. Specific, detailed backgrounds may be quoted separately.
• Additional persons may be added at 50% quoted value.
• The addition of hands and other compositional elements may be quoted separately.

Procedure
I work primarily from photographs. I prefer to take my own photographs, since my needs for composition and lighting are rarely met through commercial studio photography. For those instances where its not possible to take my own photographs, I will assist you or your photographer in providing me the very best possible images. I do often work from existing photos.

Schedule of payment
There is deposit of one-third due at the photography session. Final payment at the time of delivery.

Delivery
Delivery arrangements are made in consultation with you. In general, you can expect your portrait to be ready for review within a few weeks after photo selection.
