RATES INFORMATION

Portraits of your children and family or from your wedding are your heirlooms. They make your house your home, last longer than a car, and allow you to remember this brief moment in time indefinitely. I'm happy to work with you so your portraits make a statement about who you are, and most importantly, who you love. My goal is to create beautiful images of your loved ones. For many people, these are their most cherished material possessions.

Portrait Session Fee:
I prefer that you have ALL of the 'edited' high-resolution image files on CD or DVD to use and keep as you desire. With your purchase you have the right to reproduce the images as much as you want...they belong to you! A flat fee of $495 is charged for the photo session and images for individuals and $695 for families of 4 or more people. A non-refundable booking deposit of $150 payable in cash, check or Paypal is due within 3 days of booking. Balance is payable when edited images are delivered. Although sessions are usually booked 2-4 weeks in advance, don't be afraid to check for an earlier booking in case someone has had to cancel or postpone a session.

What this fee includes:
Usually 1-2 hours of photography time (evenings and weekends only unless other arrangements can be made), custom edited digital processing of 25-35 images in both black/white and color, a DVD with edited images set to music, and an online image gallery that will be available for 10 days, and travel within 30 miles of Birmingham.

And what it doesn't include:
The session and digital image fee does not include prints. It covers photographer's time and talents along with the edited images only.

Budget Option:
For those who might be on a tighter budget but don't want to pass up an opportunity to have their loved one captured in a timeless image for all to see, I offer the Top 1 and the Top 3 Faves options: Top 1 Fave means you pick the ONE Favorite image out of the group for only $150 (includes the session fee). Top 3 Faves means you select your THREE Favorites out of the group for only $300 (includes the session fee).

* Prices do not include sales tax. Prices are subject to change at any time. However, once a session is booked the price is locked in unless the session is postponed beyond 30 days after initial booking.

I can provide a list of professional high quality vendors that I trust with my own work where you can have prints, canvases and gallery wraps produced from your images. Or, if you prefer, I can handle that for you for an additional cost. I want you to be very happy with what you get and will do all I can to make sure you are happy with the results!

The greatest compliment I can receive is for a client to refer a friend or family member. Referrals who book a session earn the referrer a $50 credit toward future sessions!

Wedding Photography:
Weddings are certainly different from a portrait session. Much more time and effort is involved. Rates for weddings start at $1500. I have no time limit for shooting on your special day, but there are some options that include an additional photographer, assistance with ordering albums and prints, travel if outside the Birmingham area. I am always ready to discuss how I can be a partner with you in creating a special photographic story of your wedding day. Contact me for more details.
